Process
 

The admissions application process consists of two parts: Part 1 takes place online. After Part 1 has been completed, Part 2 consists of sending in all of the required documents to our Office of Admissions by post. A scanned copy is accepted during the online application process to speed up the acceptance procedure, but the hard copy must be sent by regular mail.

Part 1 - The Online Application Process

Please enter all texts in English throughout the entire application process.

The steps to complete the online application process are

  1. Fill in the electronic application form. You will be required to agree and sign our disclaimer form which may be downloaded here. Check your email inbox for our confirmatory mail and click on the link provided to activate your account.While filling up the form please ensure that you select the correct stream of study.
  2. Follow the link provided to upload a scan of the attested copy of your High School Diploma/ Certificate.
  3. Upload your color passport-sized photo.
  4. Await the mail from the Registrar confirming acceptance into the IOU. This may take a few days.
  5. On receiving acceptance email, proceed to pay the fees. Easy instructions to do so will be sent with the acceptance email.
  6. On successful payment you will be registered into the first Semester.

Before you begin:

  • Have your personal information and the necessary scanned images ready
  • For creating the account use an email address that you check regularly. This email address will be used to send you the account activation link and also for our regular correspondence with you throughout your studies. You might consider creating a new email address for the purpose of your study on the IOU

Part 2

Part 2 takes place offline and consists of sending all of the required documents to our Office of Admissions by post. Unattested certificates are accepted for registration and the attested documents can be sent via airmail to the office of admissions before entering the FINAL SEMESTER of your studies.You will receive the details needed by email once you have finished the online application process.

NOTE: Attestation is a mandatory requirement to obtain the BAIS degree, and hence we recommend that the students complete it well in advance to avoid any complications later.

Required Documents:

  • Attested photocopy of your High School Diploma or higher degree
  • Note: The High School Diploma/ Certificate must be attested by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country where the study was completed.The scan should clearly show these stamps.

    Students are given time until the completion of the degree to submit the attested documents. However the attested documents have to be submitted in order to get the degree.

  • Signed Disclaimer form ( Download now )
  • Photocopy of Photo ID document. The Photo ID document would preferably be your Passport. If you do not have a passport you may submit any other official ID that has your photo on it like National Identity card, driving license, etc.

The criteria for acceptance are

  1. Having completed high school and
  2. The availability of a place in the semester chosen by the applicant.

The university is not obliged to accept all applicants.
