Registration Dates

A student joining the Islamic Online University will pass through the following stages.

Registration	Registration is open all year round. So interested students may register immediately. Once a student completes and submits the online form, he or she is automatically registered with the IOU.
Admission	If the Registrar finds the student's uploaded documents to be in order, admission will be granted and the student will be instructed to pay his or her semester fees.
Enrollment	Once the Semester fees are paid, the student will be either enrolled in the current semester or enrolled in the following semester depending on when the fee was paid. All enrolled studens will have access to pdf files of written course material and may begin studying on their own. When classes start, access to the recorded video and audio lectures and live classes with Tutorial Assistants will begin. See the schedule below for the semester dates.

The IOU semesters commence and end on fixed days every year Inshaa Allah

Registration starts	First day of October	First day of April
Registration ends	Last day of March	Last day of September

Classes start	First day of March	First day of September
Classes and examinations end	Last day of July	Last day of January

Note: There is a two week period at the beginning of the semester in which students may add or drop courses without being penalized.
