All final exams will be administered online at IOU designated centers across the globe. IOU will appoint centers in every city that has even one student. Students will be required to pay associated fees to the center. This will vary from country to country and may also be free in some places.

Only the final exams will be conducted at the exam centers.

Do note that the setting up of exam centers requires active participation, support and efforts from the students.

The profile of the centers we are looking for is given below. What we would need you to do is identify suitable centers in your city that would match the profile given and also be convenient for you to travel to.

An IOU exam center would be one of the following

* An Islaamic Center

* A Masjid

* An Islaamic School

The center would be required to provide the following:

1. Islaamically reliable Proctor with a working knowledge of the internetto be present in the room throughout the exam time (75 mins maximum per exam). He/ she should ensure that students do not copy either from hard copies or soft copy via their own Laptop or through email etc. Proctor should ensure that the student doesnot open any window other than the one where he does the Exam. This is our prime condition to ensure the validity of the exams conducted at the center. Prior to granting access to the exam the proctor would be required to
   • check Photo Ids of the students
   • enter the password (provided by IOU) for the student to begin the exam
2. A PC for each student. This is preferable, but not absolutely necessary.Students’ own laptops may be used if needed.
3. Reliable free high speed internet access. In situations where students find a center suitable in other respects but unable to provide internet access, they may opt to use their own 3G connections if available.

Once you have identified the center, contact the administrators of the center and see if they are able and willing to conduct the exams. As students will be required to pay the fees, if any, that the center charges you would also need to check that too with them. Most Islaamic centers would not charge anything beyond the remuneration required for the proctor.

The next step would be to send the information about the center to the Centers Manager <centers@islamiconlineuniversity.com >. This information should include

* a brief description of the center and its activities
* link to the website of the center if they have one
* contact information of the head of the center (phone no. and email ID)
* complete address of the center so that students residing in the same locality may be clubbed together where possible

The Centers Manager will evaluate the center and revert to the students.
